Information you provide

Our contact form collects your name, email address, and message so we can respond. The Reader Club form collects your email address, an optional first name, the topics you select, and your email permission. Please do not include sensitive personal information in either form.

How we use it

We use contact information to answer inquiries. When you opt in to the Reader Club, we use your selections to send relevant book updates, offers, author news, or advance reader copy opportunities. A contact inquiry alone does not sign you up for marketing. You can withdraw email permission at any time by contacting the editor. Marketing emails will also include an unsubscribe option. We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for these purposes, recordkeeping, resolving disputes, or legal obligations.

Services that support this website

Squarespace hosts this website and stores form submissions. Form notifications are routed through email services. These services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, pages visited, and request times to operate and protect their systems. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection; its processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. See also Squarespace’s Privacy Policy.

Squarespace uses cookies and similar technologies to operate this website. Where optional cookies are offered, use the site’s cookie controls to choose whether to allow them. Retailers, Goodreads, and gift hints

Purchase buttons take you to independent retailers, where their prices, availability, checkout, delivery terms, and privacy policies apply. Project Forge Books does not collect payment-card information through these outbound purchase links. Goodreads links open Goodreads, which has its own privacy practices. Ratings displayed here are dated snapshots and may change.

The gift-hint link opens your email application with book information. You choose the recipient and send the message yourself. We do not ask for or store gift recipients’ details through this feature.

Sharing and international processing

Information is shared with service providers as needed to operate the site, manage inquiries, and deliver requested updates, or when required by law. Readers outside the United States should be aware that information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Applicable protections and rights depend on your location and the relevant service.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, or withdraw marketing permission, by emailing the editor. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, request a portable copy, or complain to your local data protection authority. We may need to verify your request before releasing or deleting information. Legal or recordkeeping requirements may limit deletion.

Young readers

Although our catalog includes books for young readers, our contact and email-signup forms are intended for adults. Parents and guardians can contact us about any child’s information submitted to the site so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
